Barry Waldman was born and raised in New York, USA. After relocating to Florida to attend the University of Miami, he worked as a production assistant. He soon worked as the assistant director for several indie films under the UPM. He went on to produce and manage television productions like "Key West" and "Dead at 21," for which he won both a CableAce and a Genesis Award. He relocated to Los Angeles, California, USA, to concentrate on feature films after producing "Zooman" for Showtime. "Armageddon" is Waldman's second film as an associate producer and his fourth as a unit production manager. At the moment, he lives in Los Angeles, California, in the United States.
